Introduction

It's our ambition to deliver high quality new homes that will lift the standard of housing design within the community of High Week. Homes that reflect and promote the unique qualities of the village as the wider area is consumed with generic stock housing.

Highweek has a very rural atmosphere that can be retained into the future through sensative and context specific design informed, in part, by the views, needs, and vision of the local community.

Communities are growing and the need for new housing has never been greater, however, we believe that the delivery of this housing can be done by working with local communities ensuring the qualities that make a community unique are preserved.

This website includes an online questionaire creating a platform for the community to contribute to the form of the development. We will listen to local voices then bring forward designs that reflect local needs. We will engage with local councillors, community organisations, and registered housing providers, to ensure that a broad spread of the community have their voices heard.

Public presentations and meetings will follow to present development details and invite further comment, shaping the development proposals that are submitted to Teignbridge District Council, for planning permission, later this Summer.
